For all types of transportation, the visibility of light-signals that provide various information in foggy or other poor visibility conditions is an important safety issue.

This experimental building can generate fog with particle sizes similar to natural fog and setting the environmental brightness freely at a wide variety of levels. Using this equipment, we are conducting experiments and research on the visibility of visual targets in fog, optimal lighting techniques, and light scattering characteristics.
