This simulator can simulate various traffic situations on local roads and expressways. Using the closed body of a small passenger car, the simulator can reproduce the motion of a vehicle with high accuracy by using multiple motion devices (linear motion platform, 6-axis hexapod motion platform, and rotating platform). An organic EL panel displays high-resolution images 360° (horizontally). These features allow us to evaluate the driver’s driving behavior in a way that is closer to the real driving environment.
