This facility allows the user to drive a train with images ahead projected on a screen in front. By reproducing driving conditions, etc., we can conduct research on safety improvement measures. The main feature of this simulator is that it allows the user to create and run any route and train performance and to reproduce the operation of a commercial train by inputting the operation data recorded by the actual train. Using this simulator, research is being conducted on how to analyze and utilize the daily train operation data recorded by the monitoring system for train operation, which is required to be installed in commercial trains, and how to provide the driver with various types of information and alerts for optimum driving assistance.
