    Any other content that the Laboratory deems inappropriate. 

  • Description of Titles, etc.
    Titles of authors, etc. in the articles, columns, and meeting minutes are as at the time of publication. The titles and work histories of researchers and executives of the Laboratory are, in principle, as at the time of their employment.   

  • Functional Compatibility
    The User shall not damage, disrupt, alter, or infect with viruses this Website, its content, or any other information or communication systems of the Laboratory. 

  • User Cooperation and Notification
    The User shall cooperate with all reasonable requests of the Laboratory and shall notify the Laboratory promptly upon learning of any breach (including suspected cases) of these Terms of Use, abuse or unauthorized use of this Website

    The Laboratory takes reasonable security measures to prevent the loss, leakage, misuse, alteration, or destruction of personally identifiable information and materials provided by the User. Individual Terms of Use of any other website managed by the Laboratory shall supersede these Terms of Use. 

  • Dispute Resolution
    With respect to any and all disputes arising out of or in connection with this Website or these Terms of Use, the Laboratory and the User agree to negotiate in good faith and undertake reasonable efforts to cooperate with one another in order to achieve a mutually satisfactory resolution. The Laboratory has no obligation to become involved in any dispute between a User and any other person.This Website, these Terms of Use and any dispute arising in connection therewith shall be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan regardless of the basic principles of international law.
    The courts of Japan shall have exclusive jurisdiction to adjudicate any dispute arising in connection with this Website or these Terms of Use, and the Hachioji Branch of the Tokyo District Court shall exclusively preside over the first hearing of any legal proceedings. Such legal proceedings must be initiated no later than one year after the cause of action occurs. The User shall agree to the exclusive personal jurisdiction of the courts of Japan. 

  • Modification of Terms of Use, etc.
    The Laboratory reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time without prior notice. The User’s continued use of this Website subsequent to the Laboratory’s notice of modification of these Terms of Use shall constitute the User’s acceptance of the amended Terms of Use.Even in the event that any provision of these Terms of Use is held to be invalid or unenforceable for any reason, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.The User’s obligations pursuant to these Terms of Use shall not expire and shall continue after the termination of this Website, the Users’ use of this Website, any Content of the User on this Website, or these Terms of Use.
