Primary Side on Ground Linear Motor Test Facilities

High hopes are held for the deployment of systems that utilize linear motors for acceleration and deceleration as future transport systems. The "primary side on ground" is a system that drives rolling stock by linear-motor coils installed on the tracks. The system simplifies electric equipment installed on rolling stock, featuring reduced equipment and operation costs and light weight. The facility is used for testing of methods to control the primary side on ground linear motor driven system in addition to other systems and equipment.
