Bogie Truck Test Plant

This plant is capable of simulating a vehicle's cruising state using an actual bogie truck. Designed to test performance during cruising on a curve, which is an important factor especially for railways in cities, this plant can simulate the conditions in which the bogie truck negotiates a curve. Acceleration and deceleration tests of the bogie truck can be made by operating a bogie-side drive motor. The facility is used to study steering bogies that can smoothly negotiate sharp curves.
