Research on Traffic Simulation of Combined Traffic Networks

Research of Visual Guidance System for Airport Surface Movement

Research on Traffic Simulation of Combined Traffic Networks
New traffic systems have been developed and built recently, including guideway buses, IMTS and LRT that can run by changing from guideway tracks to ordinary roads. The impact of traffic signals and congestion caused to LRT and other public transportation that run mixed with Automobile traffic must be minimized for the smooth operation of LRT and other transportation on ordinary roads. From the viewpoint of supporting the introduction of these traffic systems, a technique to simulate traffic flow is being studied for combining traffic networks of public transport systems and automobiles. This research will allow quantitative evaluations of the impact and effect of transport systems.
