Size Distribution Measurement Technique of Automobile Emission Particulates Catalysts, Particle Trappers and Other Exhaust After-Treatment Systems

Analysis of Tire Noise Generation Mechanism and Noise Reduction Techniques

Catalysts, Particle Trappers and Other Exhaust After-Treatment Systems

After-treatment systems to purify automobile emissions after their emission from engines and before release into the atmosphere include three-way catalysts, oxidation catalysts, diesel particle filters (DPFs) and other devices. The Laboratory is undertaking research of DPFs that are mounted on the exhaust pipes of diesel engine vehicles to reduce particulate matter (PM) contained in exhaust gases.
